What does 'FANgineer' mean?

'FANgineer' is the term for our game-day team members. You help us engineer a great game day experience for our premium seating fans! You aren't the average customer service staff; we think bigger and serve better.
How does the hiring process work?

You'll submit an application (below), and then we'll conduct interviews for selected applicants.
Is this a paid position?

Yes! $14 per hour. Pay periods span 14 days, and FANgineers™ are paid bi-weekly (every other Thursday) via direct deposit.
Who would I be working for?
When would I work?

FANgineers™ are required to work all 5 home football games. Each game day will require around 8-10 hours of work. FANgineers™ are required to arrive at the stadium 2.5 hours before kickoff and stay for post-game duties, approximately 2 hours after game completion.
Would I get a break during the day?

Of course! Each FANgineer™ will receive a 30-minute break.
Would I get to watch the game?

No, not really, except when you're on your break. FANgineer™ responsibilities require a high level of service and attentiveness. A dedicated and focused staff is essential. Furthermore, the guests notice and appreciate the hard work of the FANgineers™, and rewarding relationships can be built not just with the peers, but also with the guests.
What types of roles are there?

Just like a football team has offensive linemen, a quarterback, wide receivers, running backs, etc., and all have different roles and work together toward the same goal(line), we do too! There are Floor Captains, Elevator Attendants, Club Attendants, Suite Attendants, and Ticket Attendants. We cross-train so anyone can be ready for anything, which also increases your skill set and experience!
Is there an opportunity to work more than just home football games?

Yes! We need a select few FANgineers™ the day before each home game to assist suite holders in preparing their suite for game day. Not only that, but FANgineers™ with a positive review are invited to work with us at men's home basketball games and baseball games.
Are there any physical requirements to be a FANgineer™?

Yes. To be a FANgineer™, you must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours, outside of a 30-minute break

Ability to arrive at Bobby Dodd Stadium and leave on your own

Ability to navigate Bobby Dodd Stadium, walk in confined spaces amongst guests within multiple areas of the stadium

Ability to communicate with staff/guests, including general interpersonal communication as well as potential radio communication

Ability to work outside with some exposure to environmental conditions including various changes in temperature and general weather

Visual acuity necessary to make general observations of guests and premium areas with specific regard to enforcing policies and realizing issues on game day
